Dr. Zietz is originally from a small rural town in North Dakota where he became an EMT in high school, contributing to the community’s volunteer ambulance service until graduation. He attended university for a few years while working in a human hospital after paramedic school but his calling to animal medicine was too strong, deciding instead to combine his medical interests with his love for animals. He received his DVM degree from Colorado State University May 2020, taking his first associate veterinarian position shortly thereafter. Dr. Zietz enjoys working with clients to further their human-animal bond, as well as making complex medical concepts easier to understand.  On the side, he is an avid gamer (card games, board games, yard games, and video games), loves camping and storms of every kind.
